Matthew Workman is a freelance journalist living in Portland, Oregon. He’s covered hurricanes, political campaigns, and other disasters in Oregon, California, and America’s deep south. His real love is reporting on the Faroe Islands. The Faroe Islands Podcast has been downloaded in more than 100 countries and was recently named European Podcast of the Year in the non-profit category. Workman’s stories have been carried on Faroese Radio. He’s also appeared on Ras 2, the Faroe Island’s other major radio station.
